Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) is a comprehensive 1-year pre-sea training program that launches your career as a Deck Officer. Program Structure
Pre-sea Training
1 Year intensive training at DG Shipping approved institutes covering navigation, seamanship, ship construction, meteorology, and maritime laws.
Sea Training
18 Months onboard experience as Deck Cadet on merchant vessels across international waters, gaining practical knowledge and hands-on experience.
2nd Mate Exam
Clear the 2nd Mate (FG) examination conducted by DG Shipping to become a certified Navigation Officer with unlimited voyages capability.
